Mid-year employer election updates

Warning Message: A Qualifying Life Event (QLE) is required when Employer Election is changed in mid-year
After an account’s effective date, annual elections can only be changed in conjunction with a Qualifying Life Event (QLE). This rule is applicable to DCFSA, FSA, and LPFSA accounts.
Forma will process election changes to avoid delays, but we will send a warning to make sure the update is intended. No action is required unless the election update is a mistake.
Because FSA and LPFSA accounts are front-loaded, sending an incorrect annual election amount will underfund or overfund the account. To fix a mistake like this, send an updated election file with the correct employer annual election amount as soon as possible.
You will only see this warning if you are unable to provide QLE change value.
