Ineligible HSA enrollment
Error Code: EN014
Error Message: Employee is not eligible to enroll in HSA
Employees must be covered by a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) to enroll and make contributions to an HSA. You may provide HDHP as an optional field in the Pre-tax Demographics File, if not provided, Forma will assume everyone is potentially covered under HDHP hence eligible to enroll in HSA.
If you see this error, it means either:
- The employee has not yet been sent on the Pre-tax Demographics File. If this is the case, please include the employee in the next file.
- The employee has been included in the Pre-tax Demographics File but the HDHP field is set to FALSE explicitly. If this is the case, update the HDHP field to TRUE in the next file.
